Mind Renewal Initiative to Host School Mental Health Outreach on Bullying, Peer Pressure and Self-Esteem
The Mind Renewal Initiative (MRI) is set to host a School Mental Health Outreach at Christ Academy International, along UATH Specialist Road, Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The outreach aims to promote mental health awareness among students and encourage a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment.
The programme will focus on three important issues affecting young people: bullying, peer pressure, and self-esteem. These issues can significantly influence students’ emotional well-being, academic performance, social relationships, and personal development.
Through this outreach, Mind Renewal Initiative seeks to educate students on how to recognise and respond to bullying, make positive decisions when faced with peer pressure, and develop healthy self-esteem. The programme will also encourage students to speak up when they experience or witness bullying, seek help from trusted adults, and build respectful relationships with their peers.
The outreach reflects the commitment of Mind Renewal Initiative to advancing mental health education, promoting emotional well-being, and empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the challenges of adolescence.
